"Helpful at times, but not everything hits the mark"
I’ve used aarp’s site a few times over the years when helping my parents look up senior benefits and planning info. There’s definitely some useful stuff on there, especially around discounts and general advice, but not every article feels that relevant to me. Some pages seem a little random or like they haven’t been updated in a while. I still check it now and then, but it’s kind of hit or miss depending on what I’m looking for.

"Login was easy overall"
From what I remember, the login didn’t work the first time, but it went through on the second try. Overall, it was mostly easy and not a big hassle.

"Decent trip discounts, but they still make it annoying"
I used their hotel deals twice and, yeah, I did save a little money and even found some fun local stuff because of it. But it’s frustrating that they don’t make the savings or options clearer upfront. Feels like they could make the whole process way easier instead of making people dig around for the good deals

"Good site, but the messages pile up"
I do find the AARP site useful, and I’m glad the info is there when I need it. But the emails and mailers start to feel like a lot after a while. My brain kind of does that quick shortcut where if I see the same sender too often, I just assume it’s clutter and skip it, even if something might actually be helpful. I don’t mind getting updates now and then, I just wish they’d ease up a bit. Not a huge deal, just mildly annoying.

"Decent insurance, but slow support"
Got an auto insurance quote through aarp and the price was about what I expected. Fine. Nothing amazing, but not terrible either. The only annoying part was customer support taking a while to get back to me. Frustrating. Overall, it was okay.

"I had to call twice and ended up..."
I had to call twice and ended up waiting way longer than I should have. The rep was nice enough, so I’ll give them that, but the issue still wasn’t really fixed. Feels like someone dropped the ball here, and it was frustrating.

"Trustworthy overall, but I expected a little more clarity"
I’ve used AARP.org a few times when I needed basic information, and for the most part it feels reliable. I expected it to be straightforward, and some of the articles definitely are helpful. That said, I do sometimes find myself wondering whether I’m reading actual advice or being steered toward a partner offer. It’s not a dealbreaker, but I expected the site to feel a bit cleaner and more transparent. Overall, it’s useful, just a little cluttered in places.

I got billed again. Didn’t really expect it. The renewal notice was there, I guess, but it wasn’t clear enough for me. Just kind of annoying to see the charge show up

"Easy site to use"
I use AARP a few times a month, and it’s been easy to get around. The menus are simple to follow, pages load quickly, and I can usually find articles, member info, or even emails about benefits without having to click through a bunch of random pages.

I also appreciate that the text is easy to read and the pages don’t feel cluttered. I’ve checked things after getting receipts or email updates, and the site usually makes it clear where to go. Overall, it’s been a smooth experience for me with no major complaints.

"Pretty good deal for the price"
I mainly signed up for aarp because of the discounts, it’s been worthwhile so far. The membership doesn’t cost much, and I’ve already saved on hotels and a few other odds and ends. The website is generally easy to get around, though every now and then it takes a little digging to find what I’m looking for. Nothing major, though. Overall, for what it costs, I feel like it’s a solid value.

"Feels safe enough for my comfort"
I’m careful about what I use and what info I share, but so far this feels okay privacy-wise. I haven’t noticed anything sketchy, and it gives me enough peace of mind to keep using it for now
